24th June 2020  - The ECB has just announced that the Dynamos youth cricket scheme has been cancelled for this year and will start up next season.  They are hoping that some form of All Stars can go ahead.

The MNCC Outfield Festival has been postponed until 2020.  Please go to the Outfield Festival page for full details.

The ECB has stated that all non professional cricket is still suspended until at least the 1st August 2020.
At MNCC we have been maintaining the facilities so that we can restart cricket as soon as we are given the go-ahead.

Use of MNCC grounds during current Social Distancing Restrictions.

The Club Committee respectfully asks all members to read the following carefully and act accordingly.

It has become apparent that during recent weeks increasing numbers of people have been using the grounds socially and would ask that club members take a lead in complying with, and setting an example, regarding current social distancing regulations.

Use of the nets has the same social distancing regulations and shortly we will be circulating details on how these can be booked via Jake Rowe.

In addition, until there are changes to the restrictions we are unable to open the changing rooms or clubhouse for toilet facilities

The committee do not want to be seen as killjoys and in fact it is in the Clubs best interests to have people on the ground to dissuade certain antisocial and criminal elements' who have been in and around the club on a regular basis.

We therefore ask that the current social distancing regulations are respected and we will advise members immediately of any relevant changes made by HM Government.

Important messages from ECB  15th May 2020:

The ECB are encouraging children through the website

A new App related to the Dynamos is now available.  Go to your App / Play Store and search for ECB Dynamos.

The government has lifted some restriction regarding outdoor activities, which include cricket practice.  However, they have put the onus on the cricket club to ,ensure it is safe, social distancing is adhered to, hand gels are available etc etc.  This means we cannot open the nets for general use, we will have to have a booking system and supervision.
We are currently trying to arrange this and will circulate information when available.  In the mean time please do NOT use the nets.

With the cricket club closed our income has fallen dramatically.  We usually rely on subscriptions and bar takings, neither of which are forthcoming at the moment.

Therefore we are asking members, if they are able to, to pay this years subscriptions now.  We will of course carry this over to 2021 if there is no cricket this year.
In addition, if you feel able to give the club a donation to help us along the way we would be very grateful.  Any donation you make will allow us to claim 25% gift aid thereby boosting the amount given.

Thank you for your support.

Our Club

We currently run 3 senior sides on a Saturday in various leagues and one ladies team.
We also run a number of youth sides ranging from Under 11 to under 19 in local youth leagues.
We are always keen to attract new members of all abilities. If you are interested in joining and would like more information please go to our membership page.

We run a thriving coaching and fun session every Friday evening for younger players from the age of 4 to 15 years old and within this we incorporate the hugely successful ECB All Stars sessions.

Friday evenings have also become a social event, as  parents, grandparents and friends are welcome to have a drink and enjoy the excellent atmosphere at the club whilst watching the youth teams and All Stars practice and have fun.
If you would like to find out more then see the contact page or come down to the clubhouse and see whats going on.
